Session Overview: In this presentation, Jude Harper (audiologist and teacher) describes some of the issues that affect the learning, wellbeing and success of children who are Deaf or hard of hearing within an educational setting. The challenges faced by students and some possible solutions are suggested. The role of the educational audiologist, a relatively new idea in Australia, is also discussed.
